This medicine is an antibiotic and a drying agent combination used to treat acne.
Benzaclin Directions
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE, thoroughly wash, rinse with warm water, and gently dry your skin. Apply and rub in a thin film of medicine to the affected skin as directed. Wash hands after use. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, moisture, and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Possible Benzaclin side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include dryness of skin, itching, peeling, redness, or sunburn. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience diarrhea, bloody stools, or severe stomach cramps. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
